Cookies & External Services
This page explains the main technical interactions involved in browsing the Idiomly website. A cookie is a small item of data a website can store in your browser; external services may also receive connection information without setting a cookie.
Website delivery and forms
Cloudflare provides website hosting and receives request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as the requested address, IP address, and browser information. Security-related storage or challenges depend on the hosting configuration.
Submitting a form sends the entered fields to Idiomly’s contact endpoint, which uses Resend for email delivery. Form submission is separate from cookie preferences. Do not enter information you do not wish to transmit.
Embedded video
The website’s branded videos and captions are hosted with the website. Playing an explainer does not load an external video platform. The hosting provider still receives the technical requests needed to deliver video files.
The decorative homepage background uses an embedded Vidyard player that can load when the page opens. It connects your browser to that provider and may involve provider-controlled storage or processing. The separately hosted explainer videos start when you choose to play them and include captions and text transcripts.
External links and browser settings
Following a LinkedIn or other external link takes you to a service with its own privacy and cookie practices. Idiomly does not control storage set by those destinations.
Your browser settings can show and remove stored site data, block third-party cookies, and limit tracking. Controls differ between browsers and devices. Clearing data or blocking services may affect how some features work.
Scope and questions
The website’s use of providers and storage can change when features or hosting settings change. This page is not a claim that every provider cookie has a fixed name or lifetime. You can inspect current site data through your browser and ask us about a particular service.
